Sometimes you’re just in the mood for reading something short and cozy, maybe during a drive or just killing a couple of hours at home. A good murder mystery is always a good choice for times like that. Death by Didgeridoo is one option you should consider.

The audiobook is narrated by Carrie Lee Martz who performs admirably and helps make the audiobook more enjoyable. I’m saying this because after all, it’s a pretty typical mystery and it won’t win many literary awards but it was nice to listen to. Carrie Lee Martz is one of the more experienced narrators and differentiates between the characters consistently and without problem, creating a seamless experience for the listener.

As far as the technical quality of the audiobook, there isn’t any problem with it – editing is done well, no surprises like varying sound levels, etc. Pacing and flow of the plot was also good.

I’d say the material and the narrator compliment each other well and while the story won’t blow your socks off, it was a good mystery with a satisfying ending and I feel it’s a nice way to spend two hours on a lazy Sunday.
